Swing Biography
Robyn was delighted to be asked to join Swing Patrol‘s fantastic teaching team in 2012 and is proud to have current venues in Waterloo, Exmouth Market, Bermondsey and Greenwich. She is also co-leader of the all-girl performance troupe ‘The Dinahs‘, who placed 1st at The European Swing Dance Championships 2013. Robyn also took 1st Place at the London Swing Festival 2014 in the Showcase division with Simon Bressanelli, a 1st Place in the Team Showcase division at the London Swing Festival 2015 with the Hotfoot Strutters, and 1st Place with The Dinahs in 2016. Most recently Robyn achieved 3rd place in the All Star Strictly with Moritz Wagner, 2nd Place in the Showcase Division, and 1st Place in the Team Showcase Division with The Dinahs, at London Throwdown 2017 and at The Savoy Cup 2019 with The Dinahs secured 1st place in the Cabaret division for the third consecutive year, and 1st place in the Chorus Line division.
Robyn has recently taught in Czech Republic, Newcastle, Gloucester, and Durham, with many more booked in for 2019, and her infectious warmth and love of teaching make her a popular teacher.
